Solution Overview
The huge consumption of self-adhesive label materials in the world leave behind two major problems:
1. Millioms of tonnes of paper liner waste emerging from end users each day. The paper liners are mostly silicon coated galazine papers which have to be landfilled as they are not reusable.
2. The complication of recycling process for washing off the labeled packaging materials eg bear / milk bottles, due to the hard-to-remove adhesives residues on the packaing materials.
The need for a recycling solution in this label sector is becoming more and more significant. Although this problem has been addressed by a number of recycling initiatives from both suppliers and industry associations, there is no simple, cost-effective solutions available before Bond Materials "Recyclable Label Materials" technologies being proposed.

The Process
The process can be summarised as follows:
1. Coat the Printable top layer paper stock with Bond Materials "Wash-off Hot-melt adhesives" .
2. Back the Printable paper with recyclable PET film liners
3. Remove the Recyclabable backing film liner when labeling the packaging materials
4. Collect the film and recycle
5. Collect the packaging materials labeled with Bond Materials' Wash-off Adhesives
6. Simple water wash-off the label, no residues.
7. Re-fragment and produce recycled packaging materials.
